Life after domestic abuse
peer-led peer support
New Beginnings Peer Support is a peer-led after-crisis domestic abuse service for women and their children who have previously been subjected to domestic abuse living in North Yorkshire. We aim to provide the foundation from which our clients can experience post-traumatic growth to rebuild their lives despite the ongoing and long-term effects of domestic abuse.
As a specialist after-crisis support service we can support you if you are no longer in a relationship with your abuser and no longer reside at the same address. Should you need support to leave an abusive partner please refer to agencies mentioned at the bottom of this page.
Have you left an abusive partner?
Are you still feeling stuck despite leaving years ago?
Are you constantly managing post-separation abuse?
Do you wish to discover your values and boundaries?
Do you wish to meet other women who understand?
Do you want to regain ownership of your life?
We support women who are no longer with their abuser and continue to experience a detrimental impact to their lives whether they left recently or historically.
